ATMs & Groceries on Sunday

ATMs & Groceries on Sunday - 12/28/2014 03:14 AM

In the past ATM reliability was sketchy and could not be counted on to have cash or be working. Has this changed much? I've been led to believe that my cash card will work for a 1% fee, and I assume there would be more machines in CA, than in Red Hook or Tutu. Thoughts?

As we don't land until 4 p.m., need to clear customs, etc., and get our rental car; I don't think we'll be on the road to Sapphire Village until sometime after 5, not getting to our room until 6 p.m.

As there won't be much room in the car for major grocery shopping with all the luggage in the car, we may only stop in Red Hook or Tutu for basics until Sunday afternoon.

Are most stores open on Sunday?

6 days until touch down in St.T.

There is an ATM at the airport - located right in front of the ticket counters as you come out of baggage claim. Yes, most stores are open until 5pm on Sunday. Cheers

Bob: You only do Customs on the way out, so you will save some time there. There are two banks with ATMs in Red Hook, plus some private ATMs. The Food Center is open until 10 pm, I think. Also Moes's in Red Hook (old Marina Market space) is open. Yes, stores are all open on Sunday. This time of year everything is hopping. It is like the flood gates just opened up about a week ago.

This is what I am talking about: private jet arrivals.

Yep, Johnny Depp's yacht and Richard Branson's cat are both anchored off of St. John today.

On the last night of Hanukkah, the synagogue had free concert with the Maccabeats, an a cappella group, at Yacht Haven Grande. The docks were stuffed full of some pretty nice boats. The concert was fun, too.
