Discount Card ? - 01/01/2015 04:20 AM
Several years ago I purchased a type of discount card or coupon book that had several 2:1 offers, or $ discounts, etc. for local attractions and restaurants, etc.
I found what looked like the same offer that ran through Oct or Sep 2014.
I have tried contacting the person cited as providing these cards or coupon books, but no response.
Does anyone know if this person is still selling these cards? Did they still represent a savings? Why aren't the new cards for Oct 2014-Sep 2015 avaiable. Any ideas?

Are you thinking of the Rotary Club book? It usually comes out in May and is good through early December. Who was the person selling them?

2 years ago I called about the Rotary book discounts and was advised that they purposely dom't issue during the "high season".

The Rotary Club books are meant to help out businesses during the off season, by enticing people to try new restaurants. And to raise money for scholarships to young folk. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

One of the couponbooks was Virgin Island Saver, last year available appears to be the 2013-2014 season. I will simply watch for free coupon books at airport tomorrow.
By this time tomorrow I will be watching stars from Sapphire Village condo. Getting out of MN as the temp goes from 28 today to -10 or less by Sunday.

I am not familiar with that one, Bob. I'm also not familiar with temperatures of -10. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

Nutmeg, think if it was below 50 you would be in a parka! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />
Going to be a nice 80-85 here today. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
