SVIs - current travel restrictions? - 10/29/2020 09:47 PM

Would anyone have any current intel on on traveling to the Spanish Virgin Islands or could direct me to an online resource with this information?

I read "Ferry service to the island of Culebra for tourists begins October 26." from this https://www.afar.com/magazine/is-puerto-rico-reopening-and-when-will-i-be-able-to-visit

Just curious and thought it'd be a useful topic for others to maybe.

Traveling to Culebra by personal boat is not a problem. If you’re coming in with a US flag from the VI you only have to call CBP when you anchor to check in

This is from the FB Group for Puerto Rico and posted by a sailor who lives there: "Culebra is semi open for tourists, including transient cruisers on pleasure boats. They need to adhere to current COVID-19 regulations as per Executive Order by the Governor of PR. If you have it, you can check in with ROAM app on arrival. It is best to contact CBP for details, as cruisers are being taken care of on a case by case basis.
Please note that most restaurants in Culebra are still closed. Some are open for take out only. There is a curfew in place. The travel guidelines that were posted earlier (thanks Dean Melby) contain answers to most questions.
Please remember also, that things can change from one day to the next, so it’s best to coordinate your arrival with CBP and if relevant the Marina where you want to stay. Current EO goes until November 13, 2020.
As far as I know Vieques does not welcome tourists, including transient cruisers at the moment. Hopefully this will change in the not too distant future." Here is the link too: https://www.facebook.com/groups/prcruisersandboaters/

At the moment entering Culebra with a US flagged vessel from the VI you only have to drop anchor or grab a mooring and contact CBP by phone for your clearance, nothing is said about COVET but you will need a mask to go to town.
As for marinas Culebra doesn’t have any marinas except for a small one in town for small powerboats.
