Where is St. Maarten Yacht Club? - 03/16/2015 11:43 PM
What time is happy hour and is this where the wonderful grouper fingers are? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

Not sure about exact happy hour time, probably 4-6 or 5-7 or similar. Drinks are not expensive to begin with. Grouper fingers are really good. I had 6 large pieces on the appetizer menu during Regatta.
It is located directly across from Royal Palm, right next to the draw bridge.

Not sure where you'd be coming from but directions from airport would be to head to Simpson Bay Bridge:
Airport Rd to Welfare Rd It'll be on left side after the bridge.

The wooden balcony of the SMYC overlooks the Dutch bridge channel. If you find the drawbridge on the Dutch side you've found the SMYC. The 17:00 inbound opening is often the one worth watching and there's no better place for that than the SMYC.

Yup, lots of parking in the lot next to Royal Palm...and the pic I posted in the pics thread of Laura Dekker was taken behind the SMYC
