SO French - Restaurant - 07/12/2015 12:58 PM
We got here yesterday and noticed 'SO French' on Billy Folly and vaguely remember reading something about it here but I could not find the thread. Does anyone know anything about it? We ate at the old place a few years back, but that name escapes me also.

I found
this thread by searching. If the search contains more than one word, you must put them in quotation marks. Search "So French", and extend the time for your search out to the maximum of 7 years.
There have been a few threads about this place. I don't know how to search for them.
Most of the posts were not flattering...re: adding an exorbitant tip, etc.
Maybe someone else can help with the search feature?

I think we were posting at the same time. My post right above yours explains how to use the search feature.
Ahh...forgot about the quotation marks. Thank you.

I posted a review last April. We had a lovely dinner there - very clean and new, great waitstaff, food excellent, sunset view amazing! Our only problem was that we were told there was a "service charge" when questioning the bill, and our host added a tip! (I tried to tell him it was included!) He called the next day and was refunded the extra tip. Wouldn't hesitate going back - just be aware of that "service" charge so you don't double-tip! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

I think the old name was Le Bec Fin, but I think there's been several places there over the years.

In 2012 and 2013 it was Belmar (mediocre, but great view!)
