Day 10 - part 2

After a brief down pour and resting after our wonderful lunch at Dreams we weren't very hungry nor wanted to travel far due to flooding alert in Daily Herald.

We were unable to get a clear answer before leaving our resort about the menu at Crazy Cow which is close enough to us had the rain been as bad as predicted we would have had a short ride back. We were looking for appetizers only in a casual setting after eating so much rich and full bodied meals.

We decided to visit with Patrick who recently opened Pat's Roadhouse in front of the Boathouse. We had a small cheese plate, chorizo croquetas, potatoes in a garlic aioli and a hard boiled egg on a sliced baguette with aioli,grilled shrimp and piece of Serrano ham. With a toothpick holding it together it looked like a sail boat. Excellent flavor on all small plates and just enough food.

I've mentioned in another post the hours and other menu offerings . Bar is comfortable with nice tables and soon they will have love music!

Oh yes. Large variety of tapas as well as some entrées.

OK, I thought the flights to NY left much earlier..

So how is the beach there? Earlier in the week, it looked great!

The beach is great here---but the water is rough after the weather yesterday.

We will be staying here today--hubby has a cold and lost his voice. I'm having a little stomach issue AGAIN after yesterday's lunch. We can't complain---We have had so many great days on Mullet, some good dinners, and a couple of fun nights at Starz Casino.
Tomorrow home.....be back in April.

Alas, we are home.

Beach size was wonderful our entire visit. As Terri said water was rough yesterday so we spent the day by the pool before departing.

Glad you are home safe and sound and thank you once again for taking the time to post. I really enjoyed your posts. I do not go until February.

Sorry we didn't get to see you this time again. We haven't seen Terry and Rit either and I think they leave tomorrow. I guess I should have planned a party as that is the best way to see everyone and get together here.

Yes, they do leave tomorrow and a party would have been good but didn't have the energy to put it together after being away for 2 years. Hopefully next year though.
