Parking in Grand Case

Parking in Grand Case - 01/08/2016 01:30 AM

Hello,

We are returning for our second visit next week and can't wait <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />. Last year, in February, when visiting GC we would park in the lot at the north end of the main drag. This trip, we've made a reservation at L'Auberge Gourmand for Tuesday evening, but understand that is the same night that Harmony Nights begins. I imagine it will get pretty crowded, are there any other parking areas recommended other than the one we know at the north end?

Thanks

Personally I would pick another night for your restaurant. Because it's harmony nights you can't drive in to grand case. The street is closed to vehicles. You would have to park out the road by airport & walk in to town. Any other time there is parking down one of the side streets but you pay to park.

You can park in the lot in the center of town, opposite Il Netuno during "Harmony Nights". Just drive in on the road in the middle of town. when you get to where the road splits left and right, look to your left, you will see a barricade. Just tell Security you want to park and you will be guided into the lot halfway down the road on your right. I think it's $5.00. It's not a problem at all.

Go to Grand Case earlier and enjoy the sunset and a cocktail at Calmos before dinner. Park in the lot you usually use right across from Calmos. If you arrive later, you will not find a parking spot on Harmony Night.I realize it is called by another name now, but I still prefer the original name as Harmony just sounds so nice.

Thanks all! Considered trying another night but are keen to see the Harmony nights activities. We have an 8pm reservation but will plan on heading over before 6 - fingers crossed.
