returning to the island and seems Ace Car rental has the lowest price, but I've never used them. Has anyone? Good or Bad? Thanks

Hi, you said returning to the island - did you rent a car before, if you were happy with the car and service - why change
Note re pricing - not sure, but I think Ace is Safari
Make sure your quote is all in, tax, liabilty etc
No experience with ACE, but the Safari on line price starts really low, then ends up higher than the price I have this winter from the person we've used before
If I was happy before, I wouldn't change unless lots of $'s saved and excellent referrals
If not happy before, not sure I would attempt to solve that based on price alone

I'm happy with ACE. BTW, Ed's experience is under previous ownership, so I don't believe it's relevant for current ownership. What they send me on my confirm is what they charge, so there's no up-charging.

Thinking that Ace was under new management, I was going to ask Ed when he had the negative experience. A friend rented through them not too long ago for a good price and they were happy with the car, the company and had nothing negative to say about the whole experience.

it was five or six years back now.....and since have dealt with AAA with great cars, great service and great price!! After the lousy service i got back with Ace....don't care who owns or runs them now.....NEVER AGAIN.
Have used them for the past few years. Prices quoted were what we were charged. They have some cars with French plates - ask for one if you can.
