I was looking at Pinterest and came across the natural tide pool near Guana Bay. Has anyone been here? What is the best way to get there and is it even worth going to?

We've been there. The path can be tricky at times, but overall not bad. I can't remember exactly where the path is, but I do remember it being easy to find. Hopefully someone else can give you specific directions. The tide pool is beautiful, but be very careful of sea urchins in the water near the rocks.

If you are into geocaching, there are directions for the natural pool on the Geocaching website. You park near a basketball court in Point Blanche and the trail starts there.

I follow SXM Epicure on FB, and she recently posted a video of it. I think it's worth the hike. Anyone in reasonably good shape should have no trouble.

There are small tide pools along with the mangroves at the southern part of Coconut Grove on the Baie de I'Embouchere. I have seen all sorts of little fish, Octopi, and bi-valves there. Give yourself a half a day to take it all in.
