Expensive.....I live here and always bring sunscreen back from the States because it's either expired or costs $8-15. All food items have to be shipped in, so all much more expensive than the USA.

You really have little option for perishables but sunscreen should be packed in checked bagage (assuming there IS a checked bag)

You transfer the sunscreen into a small TSA approved size bottle.

We are here for 3 weeks and easily go with carry ons.
Joy's suggestion to use approved bottles is smart. (actually I think max. is 3.4 oz.)Also, Banana Boat sells 1 oz. Tubes of 30 SPF.
Feng's laundry on Eldridge near Sunny Day Foods charges by the pound. Drop Off in morning, Pick up late afternoon, folded and wrapped in plastic, about $7/week for us.
We have found most food prices are higher than states but some, especially those grown locally are lower. We get most items at Grande Marche.

We buy neutrogena in 3 oz bottles. We take usually 1 per day for the 2 of us. We travel with carry ons only too

We're fans of Neutrogena sunscreen too. Costco sells a 3 pack of 2- 3 oz lotions and 1 sun stick. One tube lasts 2 days for us.
We don't bring much food but will bring some fruit with us.

Do you have a CVS store near you? They sell small size. Hubby uses a sunscreen recommended by a doctor (he had skin cancer) and hated to apply to face. Even that recommended one is available in small size at CVS.

........

$7 X 3 weeks is more than the charge for carry-on luggage. JB $15. In past when we travelled USAir we just did carry-on because they were known to lose luggage. Used compression bags. Then JB started flying direct BOS-SXM and checked was free ---now charge.

We go for 2 sometimes 3 weeks. After many years we've learned to pare down. Most time on beach in suit. To go out to eat I feel I have an outfit on less than 4 hours so wearing twice is like wearing outfit for a full day before washing.

Doesn't Belair have washers & dryers in units? When we stay at Divi I put laundry in and go to the pool. $1.00 per load. Sneek over to Divi if Belair doesn't have laundry. lol

You all are making this easy! I'm going to definitely do carry on, wE are staying in a villa in beacon hill. The unit has washer and dryer so we should be good. I have some empty bottles that are 3 oz so going to put sunscreen in one and purchase more once there. Do condos/villas supply shampoo/ conditioner

In my experience they do. If you are renting through vbro or the like I would contact the owner to verify.
