Daily Herald - 03/18/2017 02:08 PM

Not finding it or Mia Herald anywhere - no newspapers today? Had seen nothing about it earlier.

Earlier in the week SXM Today wasn't printing because of lack of print paper. Maybe that's caught up with the other two.

I don't know why either, but their website says there is no paper today.

there was an article in Friday's paper under the editor's comment on page 2 that said
note to readers, advertisers and outlets
Due to circumstances beyone our control there will be no The Daily (or Miami) Herald this Saturday, March 18. The next newspaper is to appear on Monday, March 20, and the WEEKender supplement has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 25

That's too bad! I never read a newspaper at home but I get such a kick out of reading The Daily Herald when I'm on the rock!

Husband is on Island now, and said there printing machine is down, has nothing to due with lack of paper... He is upset, as he likes to read the newspapers when there...

I don't have any idea whether they are actually printing a hard copy paper or not, but I read their full electronic version online this morning.

The printed copy was everywhere today (Monday) but the Miami Herald (SXM version) was nowhere to be found.

Speaking of the hard copy paper - does anyone know why Peli Deli charges separately for the paper? Do most stores do that?

The little store at Royal Palm does also. They keep the money in a cigar box and not in the register. I am guessing they have to pay in a different manner for the papers and also get credit for unsold ones.
