Must be very popular. Checked 3 different pharmacys in our Feb/March trip every place told us they were out. Checked Phillipsburg, Cul du sac and Simpson Bay. Good Luck!

I would sent seem a fax a month before my arrival with prescription info and give them a pick up date and they would order it for me.

Try the pharmacy in Nettle Bay. I believe they had it a few years ago ( and MUCH less expensive than in the US).

Just curious. What is approximate "much less expensive"? Ours at home is a little over $600 without RX and $185 under drug plan for 100 days (10 mL)

There may be other things but it used for glaucoma to keep eye pressure down.

I use Latisse...for loss of eyelashes!! It is a wonderful product! And my dermatologist recommended buying online under the name of Careprost. It has the same exact ingredients as Latisse and works wonders--and at approximately one fourth the price that any pharmacy charges for Latisse....especially since my provider doesn't cover this med it sure helps! Hope someone else can benefit from this info

Interesting. Dr has said that possible side effect of lumigan is lashes growing.

Most definitely...my doctor said when used for glaucoma they found that patients lashes were growing...I lost entire patches of lashes due to other health reasons, they grew back and sometimes I need to trim them because they get too long!! Go figure...but the careprost is sooo much cheaper, same ingredients, same results....hope that to be true for glaucoma patients use, but of course everyone should investigate that with their own doctor...would be interested to know if it can be purchased on island and the cost there...

Interesting. I use Latanaprost for my glaucoma, but I haven't noticed any eyelash growth. I also only pay a $7 co-pay for a 90-day supply with my Medicare Part D RX coverage. Is it really expensive if you don't have a prescription?

Re: Lumigan - 05/24/2017 10:36 AM

I believe it was less than $100.

Latisse is about $125 for a 30 day supply, my insurance doesn't cover it. Buying Careprost online about $80 for 90 day supply....no brainer for me....
