Parrote Ville open

It was stated on Facebook that Parrote Ville opened today. George does a great job there! We went in 2017 and had a great time as my wife's a self proclaimed bird nerd.

I hope that is true, as it is a lovely addition to the island.

I am thrilled to see this back!!!! We spent a fabulous time there pre Irma!!

According to the story I linked above, their hours are 9:30 to 4:30.

Previously they opened at 9:30. Are you an early person looking to do this prior to a beach visit? I may try for closer to 10:00 if it was me. But then again....I am an owl. I was having breakfast and then visiting the bird sanctuary.

I truly hope that no matter what you will visit if you are on island. They saved the birds in their home during Irma. And the antiques that they have are not to be missed. I hope that they have been able to open that as well.

Visiting Parotte Ville before Irma was the single, most-rewarding/enchanting thing I have done on the island. It simply is not to be missed!

Great news indeed! We so enjoyed our visit back in May 2017. We will visit again next month.
