Bistrot Caraibes

These guys are professionals at the whole deal.

The greeting is always welcome, the service very attentive and the food superb.

Had the filet mignon and live lobster split into surf and turf. Did thermidor to compare and Bistrot wins.

Also had caesar salad, french onion soup, and hot chcolate cake.

About $200 incl wine and sparkling water.

Again, these two are masters and have been consistently. I think they both are chefs if not mistaken.

That's a lot of food to have to work off. No wonder you drink light beers. LOL

We haven't been there in so long.
It use to be our only meal in GC every trip.

We took my sister and her daughter there and they loved it.
Between the service and the food, it was a special night. Great memories, since my sister is no longer
with us.

It's on our list for April.

Please go, they welcomed us with open arms. Anreservation is recommended even though things are less than preHurricane peak business.

One of our favorites. Unfortunately, they weren't open yet when we were there in October.

You'll get no argument from us on that.

i agree the food is sublime ...but the service ?? not as much. We went last June. the place was almost empty, we asked to sit buy the window, since it was so hot, and was told it was reserved. hummm there are about 3-4 tables by the window. anyway, we ate but it was way too hot to truly enjoy the food... just my opinion. we will go back for sure, but this time i will make a reservation for a window table

Weve sat by the window, and on the back wall.’while neat to have the front row there are some advantages to the back wall. We have been at the same table the last 3 times. The one time I attempted to pour some wine myself a quick hand arrived to do it. I have not poured since. We have been mostly fortunate without a reservation before but now we always make one.

We almost always travel to SXM in the off season and we almost never make a reservation, if it's just the two of us. Generally it's never an issue.
