Day 4 - 02/05/2021 02:30 AM

Day 3 ended with pre dinner drinks at Bikini Beach and we chose Le Piment for dinner. Dana got the peppercorn rib eye and I chose the gnocchi. Both were excellent. Le Piment was the busiest restaurant in the village. Don’t know how the staff kept up, didn’t have a lot of workers but the gals earned their wages and provided good service.

Day 4
No walk today, decided to sleep in instead. Spent time at the villa in the morning until the housekeeper came at 10. Headed to Orient Beach, there were about 10 chairs of the non rubber band kind just to the left of Perch Lite. We chose to camp out there. Although the gentlemen didn’t come to collect until after 3 hours or so. Cost was $15 for two chairs and an umbrella. That side of the beach probably had a total of 60 umbrellas set up and we guessed 50 were occupied. Took a walk the length of the beach to makeup for no walk this morning. Definitely not as crowded as in years past.

Left around 3 and came back to the villa to clean up. We had some extra time before dinner. Saw some posts about Indigo Bay so wanted to check it out for a pre dinner drink. Had heard the road wasn’t in good shape but no worse than the roads on the back side of Orient Beach. I took some pics and we hung out for awhile. Nice place, but wouldn’t choose it for a beach day. Waves looked to be way to rough.

Dinner was at Sale Pepe. Mixed reviews from some here but they really wowed us. This is the first time we ate at their new location. Food and service was impeccable. Don’t know if this will be beat for our trip. I chose the chicken Parmesan and Dana got the lobster. With a couple cocktails came to $118.00. The location where you’ re dining right in front of multi million dollar yachts was amazing. Can’t give these guys enough stars.

Got back to the villa in time to catch the ending of the Ohio State/Iowa basketball game. Good guys won!

Pics are of google maps attempting to dump us into the ocean. ( I think of The Office on this one) Our view of Happy Bay from our villa and Indigo Bay. The pics of food didn’t iCloud over to my IPad, bummer.

Thanks for your reports. Le Piment is often full, while all the surrounding places have only a few occupied tables.

wow, that lobster looks good! And that picture of Happy Bay makes me a little sad. I would like to get back to Canoua one day, if I can afford it.
