How busy is the island now?

You wouldn't know it by the crowds in Simpson Bay Saturday night, but overall it's quiet. As usual this time of year, pandemic aside.

And my second was maybe they’re in Church giving thanks that this day - Sept. 6, isn’t an instant replay of Irma - four years ago today, right? Is Labor Day even a holiday on SXM??

I think there is a Labor Day on SXM. But not the same as ours. We were there for it one year - I’m thinking APRIL but it might have been November. It doesn’t take a lot of effort for the island to adopt another holiday to add to their already long list.

It's not a holiday here today. Yesterday Mullet was mobbed, as always on a Sunday. Almost impossible to navigate Rhine Rd. During the week, most beaches are nearly empty.
