Trust me, being vaccinated only helps so much. I know so many people that were double or triple vaccinated that ended up with Covid. Not all of them were mild symptoms either. I have patients that were double vaxxed and under 30 years old that have never been so sick in their life and lost 25 pounds due to Covid. I know people that weren’t vaxxed that were asymptomatic. We can only hope that being vaxxed keeps you out of the ICU and being vented.

I’m double vaxxed and suspect I was exposed to Covid so I’m getting antibody tested on Monday before taking the booster. I wasn’t a candidate earlier due to having a tetanus vaccine in December. Even with being double vaxxed, I still don’t want to even think about whether I’d be lucky to be asymptomatic or would I end up with major symptoms if I got Covid.

Please people wear your masks, sanitize and stay away from indoor crowds. The omicron variant is super easy to contract and I’m thinking it’s not if you get it anymore, it’s more likely when you’ll get it. Stay safe everyone!

Unfortunately it appears that this kind of increase must precede the sharp decrease, things will get better and soon.
