Ring Road.. Or not..

Ring Road.. Or not.. - 01/20/2022 02:01 PM

To me, I find this curious. One day, there is this story in the Daily Herald, talking about the Ring Road project. Link

And then the NEXT day, there is this story, which states that the funds for it have been reallocated to other projects. Link

Curious.

Due to money shortage , the damaged roads are the priority for now which is badly needed.

Lesley==yes, that makes sense, but I just thought it was weird, announced one day in the paper and the next day, they're not going to do it. And it was apparently the same person who made both announcements, one day apart..

Pressure amounts to this happening so sudden . Even us in Beacon Hill has a few holes by the Drift Wood Bar .

I didn't know there was a problem there too. Never encountered it.

Scuba--If you never go to Beacon Hill, I guess you wouldn't. Those who do, know that anytime there is rain, it's worse than Billy Folly Road.

When there has been a lot of rain, it covers the whole road at one point, AND there is generally a HUGE hole in the middle of it, which if you can't see the hole because of the water, you could break an axle.

Just more ineptness and mismanagement of funds. And, just a little political lip service and flip-flopping, like usual.
