Does anyone know whether Altro is still doing the price fixe meals and how much they are now?

Hello Carol!

They were doing them when we were there in December..$36. Also as usual, a few optional entrees available for an upcharge.

Haha! The board was in English when I was there November 21.

gomer and Linka--Thanks. Hopefully someone who has been there this year can confirm if they are still doing it.

Linda--I think it was English one side and French the other side? smile Interestingly, as of November 2022, it looks to be virtually the same menu as June 2022, which seems surprising, since it's a chalkboard menu.

jester

Love it Linda! I was lazy and grabbed the first picture I could find. It is indeed French on one side, English on the other. I speak/read just enough French to get into trouble.

Puerto Cupecoy. We enjoyed it. Nice to be able to get three courses for a reasonable price. Smaller portions, so we can actually eat it all.

I have looked at their website, and it appears to be a totally new menu, and I didn't see anything about fixed prices. You could email them at: info@laltro.lu.

OK, hopefully someone has been there recently and can reply. Often websites are not updated, especially on island.

Always on our list when we stay on the Dutch side.
A great value and nice size portions for the price.
Used to be $28.00 but still no complaints
Always had good service as well despite their sign that mentions great food, lousy service

Altro directly responded to a query this morning, and yes, they are still offering a 3 course fixed price menu. The current pricing is $39.

Just had the 3 course dinner last night. 39.00 per person. No extra % added. Was very good. Had the fried mozzarella and grape tomatoes with a balsomic glaze, hubby had the tuna carpaccio. We both had the fish pot and the chocolate mouse with coconut. All delicious.

Great! Thanks!

Kim--please refresh my recollection--what's the name of the new French restaurant in Jordan Village?

Re: Altro - 05/03/2023 08:21 PM

Yes, they still have the price fixed meal for $39, but we opted for the regular
menu. We had a mixed scallop and shrimp in leek sauce. It was excellent.
The service was very good. I don't have the picture of this computer, but will look.

We were there twice in March, great meals both times and wonderful service

Re: Altro - 05/04/2023 11:13 AM

I've been there several times, Carol. My food the first 2 visits was really outstanding. I feel it has slipped a little more recently, but is still my favorite restaurant in Jordan Village. The staff and ambiance are great.

chicster--great! What did you have?

Re: Altro - 05/05/2023 10:17 PM

We started with onion soup which was very flavorful and appropriately sized. Main course was pork tenderloin which was tender and flavorful. Came with a side of root vegetables and potatoes el-gratin. Nice fresh made apple tart was a delightful conclusion. Great addition to the Jordan Village dining choice.
