Full moon party on Maho Beach

Posted By: Carol_Hill

Full moon party on Maho Beach - 06/07/2023 07:47 PM

This Saturday. It sounds kind of cool in the esoteric as Bankie Banks, and a whole bunch of other folks, are going to be there. But how in the world is it going to happen, unless they use the Sunset BB Property? The ad said "presented by Driftwood". I foresee that Beacon Hill is going to be inaccessible, from people standing in the road. So, I guess we will be eating IN Saturday evening.

Yes because Rusty Rocket just built a new stage for this event.

I missed the concert a bit ago with Orange grove - they had a floating stage!!! We saw the stage back in April. It’s a great area. Parking shall be interesting!!

Tell me about it and as much as I like Bankie Banks , I will not attend because of the congestion lol.

This full moon party should have been @ Friars Bay.

Rusty Rocket is near the airport... across the street from Winair

Re: Full moon party on Maho Beach - 06/08/2023 10:35 AM

I just asked Connis on Facebook and the concert is on Maho/Driftwood - NOT Rusty’s! This should be interesting as some of the beach has left!!!

Re: Full moon party on Maho Beach - 06/08/2023 01:01 PM

I have no idea how that is going to work, just not really room for a proper stage there, let alone where people will stand. Except in the middle of the street. Going to be gruesome. I guess we will go out for a big lunch somewhere and then stick close to home Saturday night.

Lesley--I'm wondering if some folks from Beacon Hill could request a police presence there, to keep the road open.

Re: Full moon party on Maho Beach - 06/08/2023 05:07 PM

Well first of all , we do have a Special Policeman John Boiryard that handles our area , hence he will be in charge of this. Because I don't think that they got permission to host this event . The Police has already placed certain blocks on road in that area .

Re: Full moon party on Maho Beach - 06/08/2023 10:23 PM

I'm planning on watching the SSBB cam to see how crowded it is. There is not enough room, beach and parking for an event this big. Just my opinion.

Will do because its our area and I'm personal friend with John.

Driving by just now, lots of people parked by the side of the road. Regardless, we went to Super U this morning and bought lamb chops to cook on the grill for dinner. We are in for the day.

Do any of you know of ongoing full moon parties on St. Martin/Sint Maarten that are accessible by boat? We have been to one on Tortola that was great, but will be sailing in the area of SXM and looking to see whether we should schedule for a full moon.

Re: Full moon party on Maho Beach - 07/30/2023 04:56 PM

There used to be full moon parties on Friars Bay, but not sure they still happen. I think there are full moon parties on Anguilla though. Just a short hop there.

No Regular Full Moon party on Anguilla in a LONG time

Go for August Monday Beach Party in Sandy Ground, all between Roy's and Elvis' August 07

Thanks. What about regular full moon parties in the area? I'm not sure when we will be there.
