Grand Case Beach Day question - 07/10/2023 12:24 PM

We want to go to Grand Case Beach for a day, and are not sure where to park, where we get chairs and what restaurants serve lunch. Any help is appreciated.

Rainbow has valet service. You can eat inside their restaurant and they also have beach service if you prefer. That is the only place we have visited. Maybe someone else can add additional places.

Rainbow, as mentioned, is a nice spot that will valet. They have good food and a good beach.
At the very end of town, you can park along the road and take the short path down to the beach at Grand Case Beach Club, where you can rent chairs and get chairside service from their bar/ restaurant. I prefer this to Rainbow as it is quieter.
There's a good sized parking lot near Calmo's cafe. You can park here and go to any number of beach bars in between Rainbow and GCBC.
Tropics is a newer, casual beach bar / restaurant opened by one of the bartenders from Hotel L'esplanade. I didn't try it on our recent trip, but plan to check it out when we return.

LTC offers Valet as well. Much more low key then Rainbow (though Rainbow is great - just not into the Sunday scene!!!)

I agree with Kim regarding LTC. Another good choice is Captain Frenchy; not sure if they offer valet. Also, there's a pay lot ($5) on the left side of the street shortly before you get to LTC. It's owned and operated by Asif, an island artist. That's where we always park.

I didn't realize this. I have several of Asif's paintings and always looked forward to seeing him at the OBBR market night but he was not there on our last trip. Now I know where to find him - thanks!

I have some of Asif's work also. We got them at the market in Orient Village on Friday (??) night, if they are still doing that.

Asif was doing Art Night in his home on Thursdays ( I think) during high season. Wine, cheese, tapas. Everyone welcome. He had all his paintings and prints available to view or purchase. Not sure if or when he will do it again, but you can follow him on Facebook.

There is a $5 lot on the main road right near Capt Frenchys. Love Frenchys and LTC.

Asif is in Bolivia at the moment!

LTC is what?

Les Temps De Cerises hotel & restaurant. I was recently told that Rainbow charges for chairs but LTC does not, when food is purchased. I don't know if that is accurate or if it matters in weighing your decision.
