November 8 - 11/09/2023 12:29 AM

I haven’t posted for the last 5 days as most of the days are similar as I snorkel every morning at 7:30 am get back to room at around 9 have breakfast. Then go to pool for sun and bug bites have lunch and go for an afternoon snorkel. Weather has been good the past days but today was cloudy all day and an occasional shower and a downpour at night. We ate at Izzy’s, yacht club, marks again, pineapple Pete and at Petrona over those days we were happy with all of our meals.I really like watching the tarpon at night at the yacht club jumping and chasing the shrimp. Attached are pictures some are ok others not so as the fish don’t like to pose and the clouds don’t help.

It’s a juvenile French Angel.

The third is a 4 foot nurse shark. The 5th are large pink conch shells discarded by fisherman after they removed the meat. This is only a small sample as there are hundreds most have been there some time. I did see 30 - 40 with the the pink so the haven’t Ben ben down there vert long.

Thanks for clarifying. We do not snorkel so your pics show us what's going on under the water.

I would share some of my dive photos I previously posted here in the past to give you an idea of what you're swimming over but don't want to high Jack this thread.

I love your reports and pictures! I have never found St. Maarten that great for snorkeling.... I guess I haven't been looking in the right place!
