Yes, the purpose of the email is to prevent the same person from voting 100 times. I liked that you didn't have to vote on a category, you could just click 'next' to skip a category. I voted in the food and the services categories. They seemed to do a better job this year of including French side businesses, and I saw less businesses that had been closed for a while.

OK I took it. Lots of categories left blank. Surprised ROMA wasn't listed in high end where NOLA was. Some listed have been closed for years too.

Interesting that you used to be able to write in a candidate, but that's no longer an option.
