Fare tracker websites

Fare tracker websites - 01/03/2024 02:50 PM

What websites are folks using to track airfares these days? We don't have any flights booked to SXM yet this year, because our plans are somewhat in flux, and planning on adding a trip to St. Croix this year. So if I could happen to catch a sale, that would make me get off the fence. Thanks for any help.

SXMBND--Am I missing something there, as it looks like just a price searcher on one date?

Harry--I'm not sure why, but when I go there to set it up, it will send emails to an email address I no longer use, and I can't see how to change it.

Carol, I also use itamatrix site. It does allow a plus or minus 2 day swing from the date entered. While this is not what you are looking for but it does give a little (while very little) flexibility.

Select "Advanced control" and it pulls up a 30 day time frame.

I know this doesn’t help you Carol but JB currently has some great prices for February out of JFK. Under $400. I happened to stumble on them yesterday.

Well, I pay for Going (formerly Scott's Cheap Flights).

It's a pay site, but they constantly scour the airline sites for cheap fares and "mistake fares." It was originally designed for overseas/foreign flights, but the strategy changed during COVID.

The model is this: You specify up to five (I think it's five) departure airports, and they email you cheap fares that they find for those airports. For example, on Dec 28, they sent me an email for a trip from a nearby airport to SXM. $297 in January and February 2024.

I consider it money well spent.

How many connections and overnights? Week days or weekend arrivals?
