For those that like plane watching a KLM 787-9 Dreamliner is scheduled to arrive tomorrow at 12:40pm. It's coming from Amsterdam.

The arrival of the Dreamliner has been delayed. It is now scheduled to arrive at 1:53pm according to Flightradar24.
It was scheduled to leave Amsterdam at 9:45 but didn't leave until 11:13 local time.

I see it is the normal scheduled KLM flight; I thought it might have been an unscheduled flight.

Flightradar24 has now updated arrival time to 1:21pm

how much longer is this than Air France that lands in SXM?

I would image that a 788 Dreamliner has landed on SXM before , I am wondering if maybe this is just a newer version??

Depending on the model of aircraft it varies, but both are similar. Airbus A330 is 208' long and a 787-9 is 206' long.
From what I have read the 787 is more economical to operate. Which makes me wonder if the 787 is the new KLM to SXM aircraft.

The 787 is a nice plane but its nose shape is a little odd to me. I’ve seen them at Ohare use high speed duct tape to seal up the cockpit windows. Not very comforting.

More efficient but boring looking. The A330 has a good beefy shape.

Neither of them are a third as impressive as the old Queen 747.
