Thanks for posting that link. I had not heard this was going on. I agree, the decision seems to be the correct one. What I can't figure out is how they ever got a permit to build a 7 story building there anyway.....

I couldn't understand it either. Property right in question and 7 story building next to the airport. Manek had a heck of a time getting the permits for the heights of the building he built.

Now that I think of it, how tall are the current buildings at the site? That one building that's under construction still is a lot taller, isn't it?

It might be 6 stories.. But it took MAnek along time to get that permit.

As I recall the rumor mill had Manek being opposed by Italian casino interests who may not oppose those interested in this unit.
