Please share your favorite way to use or serve blue cheese.
My favorite is a few pieces of blue cheese (my favorite is Maytag Blue)with a glass of port. If I have some pears, a few slices go well with the cheese too.

I love when we have leftover flank steak. A little flank on a slice of baguette with blue cheese under the broiler... yum!

Actually, any combination of red meat and blue cheese for me is my favorite.

I like to make bleu cheese (or Gorgonzola) stuffed burgers...
take 1/3# burger, shape into two thin patties...
place bleu cheese on one and top with the other...
seal edges well and grill to your liking...
Top with a slice of raw red onion... melted bleu cheese in the middle! YUMMMMM! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

NOTE: serve with lots of napkins for the runoff!

Another suggestion, for Thanksgiving leftovers...
Put some bleu cheese in the leftover gravy and re-heat til all the cheese is melted and stirred in...
add crumbled turkey meat... serve over toast or english muffins with cranberry sauce on the side... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

Try jumbo stuffed shells, with tuna, ricotta cheese and blue cheese. A great combination!

Our favorites are still "Adirondack Bill's" garlic stuffed wasabi olives!!! YUMMM!!! Make a great martini!
You can only buy them in the Adirondacks, Upstate NY...
Not yet available online (bummer!)...
I have only seen them sold in small "Kwik Marts" attached to gas stations & a few deli's...

We ate in a restaurant last night that served a small snack with our cocktails. The snack was dates stuffed with blue cheese, wrapped in bacon and baked. Yummy. I imagine figs would work too!

I've had the same without the bacon.
