Wifi on bareboat monohull question - 04/02/2016 08:58 PM
Doing some last minute prep before leaving home. We would like to access wind websites and apps while at sea. Wondering if you have used Renport. We are considering their surf usb plan. It's $210 for the week. Any advice?

TMM is a charter company that you're obviously not using. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Tonguea.gif" alt="" />
If you have Verizon they now have a $10-a-day international roaming plan- can't remember how much data you get but it has worked for me many times.

If you have T Mobile you get free data in the BVIs
(If you have ATT you get free data in The Bight at Norman Is. via St. Johns)

So many other better and cheaper options. You can buy a mi-fi for about $50, you can get a sim card from Digicel or Lime. AT&T is free in more then 50% of BVI, plus the other options mentioned.
