I'm assuming you are arriving later in the day pre charter? For one night Fort Burt.
Get a deluxe room. Across the road from TMM. Walk down the hill you are there.

We've always stayed at Tamarind Club but we are looking else where for our next trip. I'm checking out Lambert Beach Resort and remember some people have stayed there and enjoyed it.

We visited the Sugar Mill recently for lunch and were shown around by the owner. They are happy to do one night stays if not in height of season. Very nice, and they have done a lot of work already with much more planned. Well worth a try.

Maria's by the Sea is reasonably priced and walking distance to the ferry and restaurants.
