We used riteway last week. I would rate them A.

I haven't used Bucks but I have used Riteway for 2 weeks in October and this past week. Delivery 100% correct (1 very minor substitution>>> Brand of an item). 1st time delivery was scheduled at TMM for 0800 and they arrived right on time. This trip, we had delivery scheduled for 1800 (sleep aboard ) and they arrived 1745.

Deepcut - I am chartering from TMM in Jan. I never considered getting our Riteway order delivered the night before departure. We are due to arrive at 435pm on a Saturday, and staying aboard. Given Sunday is on Island Time, do you think we would be better served trying to get our order delivered Saturday night? We are flying CapeAir from SJU, so always a chance for flight delays I guess, which could complicate things. As is, the plan was to get the food to the dock Sunday morning while a couple of crew goes to Riteway to get the fresh stuff, while I do the briefing. We are planning on getting the CC order delivered Saturday, and TMM has graciously offered to hold on to it for us.

thanks

I don't know how late riteway will deliver on Saturday afternoon. In any case, I think that you should talk to the TMM base directly to find out what the contingency plan would be if your food arrives on time and you don't. It least then you can consider your risk.

The base telephone number is available on the TMM web site.

hmm, maybe i'll stick to the original plan. I've already got TMM stashing the liquor order, don't want to put them out with the food as well. Less to stress about if we just focus on it the next morning.

thanks.

Previous trip we sent a couple to buy produce. This time we had delivery of produce. Felt quality was great and no need to go "select " the produce.

Also if considering evening delivery (or even morning delivery), make sure you have Riteway (or other ) phone number to call in case you miss ferry of delay of any kind. I believe Riteway instructs to call if travel issues arise.

I always do a sleep aboard and have the provisions delivered that night. Normally 2 hours after we plan to be on island. I don't worry about what I can't control.
