A bit of trivia - Havana Club vs Havana Club. One is Cuban rum and the other is Puerto Rican rum. Both claim rights to the name 'Havana Club'. The Puerto Rican version is owned by Bacardi, while the Cuban version is owned equally by the government of Cuba and Pernod Ricard. The history of the conflict is interesting, although too complicated to explain here.

Another piece of trivia. Bacardi rum was originally from Havana Cuba,
after the revolution they moved to Catano Puerto Rico.
Rums from Cuba can not be imported into PR or the USVI.
But can be found on the BVI.

Was at Tico yesterday and there were 3 varieties of Havana Club.
