Depends on where you are going from or too...but my money is on VI Airlink. Excellent pilots, great planes and always superb service.

We are flying from SJU to EIS but doing a private charter because we are bringing some items down with us for some friends.

we have used Air Sunshine on Four different round trips SJU/EIS/SJU
No issues. No cancellations or significant delays.

We just booked Air Sunshine for March from SJU to Virgin Gorda. For us, it came down to schedule. Air Sunshine just worked better with our Southwest arrival/departure. The 40lb limit might be a challenge since we want to bring some tools down to pitch in though.

They will charge you for overweight baggage. It's happened to us many times. I think it's $1 per pound over the 40lb limit.

It's a long story, but last year we were stranded and needed to charter a plane from SJU to Tortola. We found Air America and we loved flying with them. Great people, fun flight.
