Keeping in mind I am a newbie is reserving a slip much like a hotel. Need to be out by 11am and available at 3 pm.

Which marina you have in mind? Some, like Leverick less formal, some more so

Just email or PM Nick, he is here on this forum. They did a great job rebuilding, you will enjoy it. I recomend 2 nights, if you have time. Rent a car and drive to Bath and other places on the island.

We got back home from a great visit to the BVI's a couple of weeks ago. We stayed on the dock at Leverick for 2 nights and took Tiger's Taxi to the Baths. We have rented a vehicle in the past but decided to go with the taxi this time as he came to the docks and gave us his card. I believe we ended up paying 20 dollars PP for a return trip just calling about 15 minutes before we wanted to be picked up. The taxi will stop at the look offs and let you get out to take pictures etc. At the Baths it was like it was our own private beach! Our group was alone for at least an hour before we saw any more people. If you have avoided the Baths because of too many tourists this is the year for you to go. The drivers were also full of interesting info about Virgin Gorda and of course there was much talk of the hurricanes and how pleased they were to see tourists return. Either way 2 nights at Leverick with a visit to the Restaurant upstairs or a Friday night Beach BBQ is a great was to spend time on Virgin Gorda! Have a great trip.

Two nights at Leverick is a must. Rent a safari truck. Go to Baths, etc. We started at 2 nights, now we spend two weeks at Leverick.
