Water Taxi STT to TMM

Any recommendations on a water taxi from St. Thomas to TMM in Road town?

Our last trip on the ferry was not great, and would like to try one of the water taxi
services. I know the cost is more, but I'm thinking some personal service would
be appreciated by my crew after taking the red-eye flight from Reno.

A few weeks ago I got a quote from Dolphin Water Taxi for a party of five from STT to TMM. It came out to a little over $200 per person all in (that includes STT land taxi and a $60 per person customs charge). That's a lot of Painkillers! You can charter with Island Birds from STT to EIS for about that.

I have used Dolphin Water Taxi 4 times now (to TMM as a matter of fact). I would say the price is at a premium for sure but they have mastered the lost art of punctuality and customer service. It has ALWAYS been a great experience for my family and I. If you go that route, request Amir as your driver from the airport to Red Hook....he is a hoot.
