I don’t know about this dust storm but I do know from personal experience they will turn your nice white boat a interesting shade of Orange!

Jason has a link to his webcam in the Cane Garden Bay thread. Picture looks pretty gruesome.

We're in Coral Bay St. John. Yesterday we could barely see the sun through the dust. It is a bit brighter today. Our sail covers are getting some tan color and I have to clean off the solar panels every morning. Saturday, we could not see Jost from Maho Bay.

It looks like it should rain, but no, just throat choking dust and a full moon all day!

Very dense, cannot see any other island from Anegada, cannot even see Keel Point cottages across the pond from my roof top.

Anchored at Magen's Bay and we started to see some clearing at about noon today. Can actually see some hazy blue sky and white clouds.

Flew in to STT yesterday. Could barely see Turks&Caicos from directly overhead. Couldn't see St John from Redhook. Rain last night - much clearer now.

We saw blue sky last night. Rain last night and things cleared up a lot more.

There have been several photos on Facebook on the St. John Travel and Life page. Everything--water, hillsides, sky, trees, appear an unhealthy shade of gray.

Webcams look a little clearer today, still not great.

It was clear enough to see St. Thomas from CGB late yesterday but it's disappeared again today. They had predicted a 2nd wave today and Saturday so I guess it's expected.

This is the first time the windows have all been closed at my place since I left for hurricane season last September.
