BVI - Change to "tracking" process ??

Reported on Facebook (BVI Alive group):

that is a returning resident, not tourist, don't know if that makes a difference or not though.

Perhaps they've given up the trackers that clearly don't work.

Of course they’re not going to work... in certain areas there’s no cel service due to the mountains.

It sounded like it was faulty hardware, not just lack of cell service.

Mine beeps when you are a few feet away from it as you would expect, but it also beeps when I roll over in bed and its 30" away, and then sometimes it just beeps anyway.
