What kind of shape is the BVI in after Erma? Is Saba Rick and Butter end rebuilt? Is everything open?

I think spell check is not working well for you :-). Saba Rock and Bitter End are both under construction. Irma flattened them both. In North Sound, Leverick Bay is open. Most of the other popular places throughout the BVI are open, but with reduced tourism due to COVID many of them operate at reduced hours. Its a great time to go. You pretty much have the islands to yourself.

Marina Cay was also very badly damaged and Pusser's (which has since been sold to Mark Vanterpool) did not renew their lease.

Just got back Friday night and Virgin Gorda looked great - new buildings and the restaurants were serving great food

Haha. Well, glad my attempt at humor actually came off as such. You are not alone in not proof reading these days. I just thought your gaffs were particularly funny. It is really your auto-correct feature that turns typos that would normally be pretty obvious into actual words.

(@Caroll, sorry, I know this is off topic. Feel free to close the thread. :-) )

Here is a video from April 2021 of the status of the Saba Rock Rebuild.

Saba Rock Rebuild

We were sailing by on a Hobie Getaway and I shot this with my GoPro Hero 8. Some entertaining commentary between the girlfriend and I as a bonus lol

Since this video they have brought out all the interior furnishings and recently have been creating a beach on the backside (Eustatia Sound side)

Just sailed by Saba Rock 2 days ago. They actually had placesettings on the tables (?) however they were not open to the public. I believe they had a job fair to promote staffing recently and Visually they look pretty close, but not quite there yet.

Went by Marina Cay yesterday, The mooring balls are still there however that’s about it, sadly abandon. Stopped at Scrub island For lunch and a dip in their amazing two-story pool.

Saba is scheduled to open in October.

I heard October as well Jason.
Being in the construction industry and reviewing their current completion status I think an October reopening is spot on timing.
