Foxy’s Full Moon

Foxy’s Full Moon - 11/27/2021 01:07 PM

Hi all! What’s the scoop on the Full Moon Party at Foxy’s? We’ve never been, but planned to be there in Dec since we will have our 20-something kids with us this time. The Foxy’s web page says it is Sold Out. We didn’t realize we need tickets, maybe because of Covid? Anyone have tickets?
Thanks for the help!

Personally I avoid it. We are typically down with anywhere from 4 to 8 20 something’s in May and find the group has enough party without the hassle of the crowds and mosquitoes at Foxys. Been there and Trellis Bay before for FMP but now try to plan circuit to avoid crowds and parties like that especially as we all want to clear covid test to come home

Go up to anegada and enjoy potters with that crowd of 20 something’s

I completely agree with Bailau. Foxy’s is overrated.

Well, yeah, guys, many things in this life are over-rated, but could someone please try to answer the underlying question? Are they requiring tickets now and if so, anyone know where one can get some?

Carol

This is a new member and the first question asked is what is the scoop. I am trying to save the OP some time and set expectations IMHO

Having been to the BVIs for over 2 decades I can count on a couple of fingers the number of things that are overrated in all my experiences. My friend MiDivr is spot on again IMHO

In fact we will be land based in white bay for the FMP and still won’t go

OK fine. Set expectations. Again, can anyone address their question?

I just inquired with Foxys on FB via messaging. They responded that tickets are not required for the upcoming full moon party, but possibly next year, as they are planning some bigger parties.

Thank you! Some of you have caused us to question whether we should go or not, but we have never experienced it ourselves. So are you glad you got to do it at least once in your lifetime?

sure...and glad I did Trellis Bay FMP (nothing like the smell of napalm in the morning) before that and Bomba Shack FMP (as far as I could remember) before that...but I was younger then and not in charge of a boat. My thoughts are more from is this highest and best use of your time and kids fun coupled with safety.

all good stuff. It is just mayhem in Great Harbour on a full moon night. 2 years ago and last time I was there for that I was on far east mooring and someone came in late and decided to put chain down in water too deep. Sure enough while I was watching boat and crew was in getting hammered their boat swung into ours and I got to deal with their drunk crew coming out from Foxys FMP.

Mare sure they see White Bay JVD...and if there when we are we have 2 20 something college kids of our own they can hang out with. Willy T by day is another cool place. Leverick and then taxi to baths is great. CGB is also great

And if you have time get to Anegada....these are the things the many college kids love that we have taken out for years.

All IMHO
