Boat fire in Great Harbor, JVD

I saw on the news that a catamaran caught fire in Great Harbor last night. Thankfully, all aboard escaped and are ok.

It is astounding how fast a boat burns! I always tell the crew that we will likely have to decide within 4 minutes from the START of the fire (not when we discovered it) to abandon ship. It is truly the only thing that could happen on a boat that truly scares me.

It was an Aquila 484.

got it...I was told wrong then re Marine Max (what is their 484?). It is a blue hulled boat and what is left on a barge in Great Harbour JVD

I had asked several weeks ago if anyone else thought it was a problem that the charter captain we hired spent the night off the boat.........case in point.
