BVI Immigration & Customs - clearing in - 01/09/2022 05:23 PM

Hi guys,

Heading down to the islands next weekend - planning to sail a private sailboat from USVI to BVI. A few questions for the group:

1. As a private vessel with fully vaccinated crew, can we clear in at West End?

2. Anyone know the days and hours that West End and Road Town Immigration/Customs are open right now? Ideally to keep within the 48 hours of COVID testing (which we plan to have done in the US before we leave), we would be able to clear in Saturday evening or Sunday morning. Any idea if West End and Road Town are open on Sat evening and/or Sunday?

many thanks!

I can't find an official announcement, but I thought I read yesterday that West End was closed. Many government offices are closed due to Covid: Immigration, Trade, Labor. This week BVIEC stopped taking payments (we went there to verify) and Beef Island airport has reduced their hours.

I am arriving 1/14 and have to clear into Road Town and not west end, due to limited hours, I was told on Friday.
