Are you staying at the resort as a guest or do you mean visiting the marina?

The Marina Village at Oil Nut Bay is completely open to the public. The centerpiece there is our over-water restaurant Nova, with swimming pool and day beds. There is also a watersports center offering electric foilboard rentals and lessons (recommended to book ahead of time) and two boutique shops.

Day Passes to the Oil Nut Bay Beach Club (which give access to the Beach Club, pools, beach, watersports equipment (paddleboards, kayaks, hobie cats, snorkel gear), tennis courts and pickleball courts) are available based upon availability. Day Passes are $195/person, per day and reservations are recommended at least 72 hours in advance

If you come to Nova for the day, we are also happy to provide a complimentary tour of the larger resort and development itself

One of the few (only?) good things about the COVID lockdown during our trip in 07/2021 was that while Nova was closed when we were there Oil Nut Bay was substituting access to the Beach Club for no charge. The beach, pool, and restaurant were phenomenal. The cabanas had the most comfortable beds we had on the trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. The ride to the resort from Nova (during the late day) had some spectacular views.

It is an expensive splurge to pay for a day pass but looking back at how much we enjoyed the beach club it was certainly a great experience and might well be worth the price.

I had understood that oilnut bay beach club access was no longer available. The website makes no mention of these day passes. Is this new?

I had inquired about a year ago and was also told they weren't available anymore. So our last trip we didn't bother asking. We had been over when they were offering it for free and loved our day there and considered going back. I still think the price is pretty steep. For a family of 4 we can do an excursion at that price. $100 a head is more reasonable.

I do apologize for this confusion. It is very understandable, as the policy has changed many times over the past few years and transparently we could have done a better job of communicating this with the public.

We have chosen to not advertise the Day Passes on the website, as our number one goal with The Beach Club is to ensure our homeowner and resort rental guests have a great experience there. But Day Passes to The Beach Club are certainly possible right now, based upon availability.

I did love when we offered it for free, as it really is a beautiful setting that we want to share with as many people as possible. Unfortunately, it was the case of a few bad apples ruining something really cool for everyone as several of our homeowners and resort guests had really unfortunate experiences on a few different occasions.

After that, we decided to charge for them and then subsequently increased the price with the main goal of ensuring our homeowner and resort rental guests experience there

I get it-the goal of the high price is to keep out the riff raff. If I had a villa there I would want management to ensure my quiet enjoyment too. Unfortunately, it makes it cost prohibitive for us. Yet I fully understand that ONB, like many exclusive places doesn't have to offer any access at all.

I understand your objective at ONB and consider myself one of the fortunate few to enjoy the Beach Club while staying at your marina during Covid in 2021. I will be returning again next month, can you please advise as to the current day pass pricing as we would like to stay at the marina and enjoy the Beach club amenities once again-Thank you.

What is the process in trying to secure a few day passes for an upcoming trip? Is it best to just call the resort? Thanks
