Kitten and Puppy escorts needed - PAW BVI

Kitten and Puppy escorts needed - PAW BVI - 11/08/2023 08:03 PM

As the season kicks off if you are an animal lover please remember PAW BVI's Paws in the air program, where travelers are asked to transport puppies and kittens with them to sister rescues in the US.

It's all very easy, you are met at the ferry dock or airport here in the BVI and then met at the other end, everything is organized for you and the animal travels with you in the cabin in a soft bag under the seat.

Please give a puppy or a kitten a much needed new start.

At the moment The Humane Society is caring for 68 adult dogs, so it is extremely important to get the puppies off island before they get too big to fly. Please note that PAW does have an active spay and neuter program but sadly not all residence participate in this leading to many unwanted puppies and kittens.

Is this an ongoing need or just at present? Would be willing but not there until Dec/Jan

We also have 50 + cats and kittens in foster with PAW BVI, who need to get to Boston, if anyone is traveling that route. As mentioned above this is a year round thing, so if you are not coming for a couple of months but would still like to help, please do get in touch when you are close to traveling
