Great concept for the younger people who have a dream of sailing and what's a better place then the US & BVI.

I think you just get the boat on the dock, not the sailing part. The dock is at Latitude 18, so front row for the Fiddler, but not a lot of other options for entertainment...

Well at least you get the easterly breeze.
It would be a good idea to let Quallified newbees to head out on their own.
Looks like it could be a new low cost charter system.

If you look on airbnb, there are lots of people who put their boats on there for people to live on at the dock...sometimes the pricing is a bit ridiculous <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

This is very popular at our "home port" marina in Charleston. Lots of boats available cheaper than hotel rooms. Doesn't always pay off for owners who sometimes spend more to have them cleaned & heads repaired than they make, but they seem to stay booked.

Could be a viable option if you're looking for an overnight in STT before picking up a ferry to the BVI. Especially if the boat is in the same harbor as the ferry.

hmmmmm

The ones in the link look to be over in the Lagoon, which is on the Red Hook end of the island.

I love this statement from their web site:

"She sleeps five comfortably, but this is best if you have three children or you do not mind close quarters!"

Comfortable appears to be a state of mind. That's some serious marketing!
