There are a LOT of restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay. Happy hours at Joe's Rum Hut, Cruz Bay Landing, The Beach Bar, Woody's, Doghouse Pub, Banana Deck... is a partial list. Joe's Rum Hut is on the beach and has very good deals. Woody's has $1 US Coors at HH. I don't know about happy hour at the Quiet Mon Pub, but it has great people watching from the upstairs veranda.

Restaurants go from a cheap lunch deal to splurge. If you let us know what you're looking for?

Cruz Bay is my favorite harbor town in the US/British Virgin Islands.

The thing that's great about Cruz Bay is that you can wander around and see what is interesting to you. I like Morgan's Mango, but TomB likes Joe's. There is something for everyone there.

count me in as another fan of Cruz Bay, we have been going to STJ for 20+ years and Cruz Bay is a part of the reason why, it is a fun town to bar hop and get a great meal.

Our favorites - Lime Inn, Morgan's Mango, La Tapa for meals. Joe's Rum Hut, Beach Bar and Drink! for drinking. There are a couple of bars right on the beach at Wharfside Village as well as a few restaurants with bars.

I was really impressed with the quality of cocktails last week at the Lime Inn. It doesn't have a water view, but it's a cute place for a happy hour drink, and the food is delicious.

We'll end up getting together with a group for dinner pretty frequently. Some favorite spots for groups are Lime Inn, Banana Deck, High Tide and Virgin Fire. Our favorite fine dining restaurants for smaller groups and couples are La Tapa (favorite), De Coal Pot, Extra Virgin, The Terrace, Asolare and Rhumblines. Yep, all walkable.

If all you see is the stretch between the dinghy dock and C&I, then I agree. There is a lot more out there.

Thanks nutmeg, I am picking up crew there and wanted a place where we could meet first. We will go walk about for sure.

If you're picking up crew, Cruz Bay Landing has a view of the ferry wharf. High Tide is the closest bar along the beach front, followed by Joe's Rum Hut and The Beach Bar. The bars along the beach offer have chairs on the beach too.
