Buying "Refreshments" Near Windward Passage

Buying "Refreshments" Near Windward Passage - 02/27/2017 08:35 PM

We'll be coming into STT and staying at the Windward Passage for one night before the charter in a week.

[#1] Is there a place within (easy) walking distance of the hotel where we might procure a six pack or two of beer?

[#2] Do they still have the liquor store at STT?

Thanks in advance

We go to the Pueblo, but that is a hike. The only place I can think of is the convenience store at Petrus Plaza gas station, three blocks west. The Frenchtown Brewery is nearby and has very good products and sells growlers.

There is still a liquor store at STT, on the way to baggage pickup. They are not open early.

Cheers, RickG

Turn left and walk to the Greenhouse. Reasonable priced beer at the bar and fun often!

Turn right and walk past the ball park to the gas station - 2 minutes! very well stocked convenience store with refreshments and a few small food outlets too.

Come on over to Frenchtown. A half dozen or so places where they will serve them to you one at a time cold. Hook Line, Epernay, Bella Blu, Rum Shandy, Betsy's, Twisted Cork, Oceana.

While your at it take a stroll through the marina and check the boats that you could have been on instead staying in a cheap hotel and riding a ferry. :-)

Picking up the boats at Compass Point on following day. Like the ferry though, once it's underway. Don't like pandemonium of ferry terminal.
