Neil/Celine

Neil/Celine - 01/17/2015 01:25 PM

I have been trying to get a hold of Neil for a couple days to schedule a charter when we are in SXM this year. I have not been able to get a response yet. I only used the "Contact Us" from his web site because that was only info that I had. Does anyone have an email for Neil? Or is it normal to not get a response for a few days and I just need to relax? I'm just trying to get our charter booked because we will be on island during high season and I really would like to try Neil this year. You have all given such glowing reviews of him that I had no choice but to try him. Thanks in advance for your help.

A group of 10 of us just got back an hour ago from a pub crawl with Neil! It was absolutely amazing- The CelineToo is a beautiful Cat- highly recommend this excursion!

Glad to hear Neil and the Celine Too are back offering their fantastic cruises. The pub crawls have always been a very enjoyable evening!

Is there a web site. Had a great time in Pub Crawl several years ago. Glad to see Neil is running again.

The website looks like it is not up to date yet, but I'm sure Neil will take care of that soon.

Spoke to Neil the other day. All trips/charters are up and running again. The new boat Celine Too is 20 feet longer and wider that the old Celine. So more space for everyone. Use this email celinecharterssxm@gmail.com not the info@... address. The web site is under re-construction and should be up very soon. With new pictures of the new boat and trip details. The boat is docked behind the Gourmet Mache food store/Barnichals/Lail's in Simpson Bay. Lots of parking. Anticipate 24-48 hours for email replies.

I have tried to contact Neil twice over the last week and a half. I have tried him through this web site and I have also emailed him at celinecharterssxm@gmail.com. I have not received a response yet. Is this normal? Other posters have said 24-48 hours. It has been almost a week since I emailed him? I am just wondering if is back in business? I have heard so many wonderful things about his charter that we want to give it a try this March. Just wondering if I need to be more patient or if there was a problem with my email. Thanks

Neil usually responds within a few days, but he is exceptionally busy now trying to get the new website up and running and getting the final details taken care of regarding the new boat. Celine Too is in the water as people here have talked about doing a pub crawl on her recently.

Since you are not going until March, you have still lots of time to reserve your trip. We usually wait until we are on the island to make reservations with Neil and have never had a problem.

Re: Neil/Celine - 01/22/2015 04:29 PM

OK. Thank you. I was told that we needed to reserve early since we will be at SXM during the Regatta. I didn't really know what "early" meant so I was just trying to get it done so we won't miss out.

Re: Neil/Celine - 01/22/2015 06:53 PM

I don't know Neil and have no particular axe to grind but I would think that responding to customer inquiries would be just about the top priority I would have as a small business owner. Even if only to say "I got your message and I'll be back to you shortly."

I know he's recovering from the hurricane and I feel bad for all the people affected but if I were trying to line up an excursion and didn't get a reply from a vendor, I'd be looking at other options.

Re: Neil/Celine - 01/23/2015 09:21 PM

Neil has been working extremely hard to get Celine too ready while borrowing other boats to do charters and things since the hurricane. Even under the best of circumstances the internet and phone a service can be spotty and sometimes he has not gotten emails from us or they show up later for some reason and we have been close friends with him for 17 years. He has even hired people to handle emails etc but sometimes circumstances beyond his control such as illness etc can effect that as well. I know that if you go on Facebook and find Tamara Rodriguez (probably can find her through Celine charters page) she has said that if anyone had trouble reaching Neil through email or phone contact he and she will help connect you with him.

Re: Neil/Celine - 01/25/2015 04:52 PM

His phone has been giving him fits (not taking messages) and the person who was handling his email has been ill. Tamara is an excellent choice.

BTW love that T-shirt!
