Jet Blue Confusion - 10/24/2018 01:09 PM

Can anyone explain why on the Jet Blue website, it is says there are no flights from BDL to SXM , but on Expedia there are flights shown for that route?

I would start with calling Jet Blue. Perhaps they are updating schedules, changing equipment, etc. and Expedia is not up do date yet.

I'll bet Expedia is putting you on multiple carriers. There has been no Jet Blue service between SXM and BDL since they halted the SXM/SJU flight several years ago. It was great while it lasted.

You can get to SXM from BDL; connections...

I saw something kind of similar last year, where JetBlue.com was selling SJU-STX on a codeshare carrier (Cape Air) for something like $229. But if you searched Kayak.com you could find the same JetBlue codeshare flight for $89, and the Kayak link would lead to JetBlue.com where you could book at the lower price. Very odd. Not the same thing, but it just shows that JetBlue's website doesn't always sync with other websites.

If the Expedia flights you're seeing are what you want, I'd say try booking them. Then you can call JetBlue to confirm that the reservation is valid. That said, I'm fairly certain there is no nonstop from BDL-SXM.

I can guarantee there is not direct flights. And the connections are expensive and 20+ hours.

The JetBlue site won’t let you book from BDL-SXM even with connections. Same for PVD.

There has to be a reason for this. What dates are you looking at? What flight routing is Expedia showing?

We decided to take a chance and book on Expedia. Decent flight and ok cost. Jet Blue to SJU from BDL in April. Says Seaborne is a Jet Blue partner from SJU to SXM with good connection. We shall see. Can always swim the last leg.....

I have never been able to book JB with connections using PVD as a starting point.

JB does have a flight from BDL to SXM with a one hour layover in SJU....but....as was mentioned, it's not on their website which makes me wonder why? The flights back are another issue and not appropriate...12-15 hour layovers...
