Here We Come (Maybe)

After much anxiety we are ticketed (with only a couple of changes from AA), tested (Antigen), submitted, insured and pre-approved. Now it looks like everything depends on Henri. We are scheduled to leave New York Monday morning, to CLT and finally SXM. Hoping Henri doesn't wipe out our flight.

We had a lot of hesitation due to the Covid situation in St. Martin but it doesn't seem to us that there is a lot of difference between the situation there and the situation where we live. GCBC was great when we contacted them about our doubts. They have waived all cancellation penalties so we could wait until he last minute to make our decision.

The pre-approval process was very easy. So if Henri must come through New York let it be quick.

resort is quiet but busier than most anywhere else
Lunch at Sunset cafe was good but maybe not enough variety for return visit
need to adjust to eating so early as restaurant are serious about closing at 8:00 PM
In grand case Spiga and Le Cottage are on vacation
some other closing on September 1
still plenty of choices especially if you include orient area

Made it! Even flooded road to the airport in NYC could not stop us. All paperwork smooth as silk.
