We were in North Sound in February and there were cranes working at Saba Rock.

I was looking for a video! I found it and Thank you!!
If I had to guess, I would say Saba Rock is open for Christmas 2020 and BEYC is open March 2021. For boaters at least.

Very cool to see that they have salvaged and are repurposing alot of items and material. Green and authentic at the same time.

The salvaging of the wood is amazing, but did anyone else look at the piles stacked up and think "whoa, those would really fly if a hurricane came thru."

Having just spent 2.5 years re-building the South Sound Villa, I would estimate 2 years to re-build some of Bitter End
It is a job that I would not place on my worst enemy.
For me I lost 2.5 years of my life. Yes, now it is done but covid 19 has robbed me of guests and the joy of seeing the villa being used again and folks enjoying what I built. REALLY SUCKS!!

Saba Rock replied back to me on FB about my hopes they would be open for our November trip and said likely not....bummer....
