There are no Global Entry Interview locations in Maine.
I'm guessing the closest will be in Boston but if you go to the Global Entry website you can check to find which location will be best for you.
I renewed my GE online earlier this year. Process was easy and got email with renewal approval in less than a week. No other action on my part was necessary.

GaKaye said: Did you get a notification that it was expiring? It is my understanding that GE does send out an email "expiration notice" however, I knew my GE was due to expire while I'd be traveling out of the country so I renewed it about 3 months early (prior to the time the notice goes out).

Does GE really buy you anything for travel to Canada and Mexico? Um, Kaye, the Global Entry card is a legal form of ID that meets all the enhanced ID requirements. So, it CAN be used at the airport for the TSA folks. You don't need to carry it if you don't want, but is delivered as a by-product from CBP of a Global Entry application. This is not the the same card as the NEXUS / Trusted Traveler or "passport" card. I think you may be getting these confused.

Suppose so, as Passport Cards are valid for domestic air, and international land and sea travel and not for international air travel. ========== Passport Cards
